The The Barge Masters’ Cabin is open most days early spring to late autumn and during February Half Term. During the winter, the kiosk is usually open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Spending time by the water is the fastest way to slow down, so take a moment to sit back and enjoy our fantastic waterway. Join us for a relaxing boat trip along this stunning stretch of water.
Boat trips run from the Barge Masters’ Cabin at Heybridge Basin every hour, on the hour, when the Cabin is open, from the end of March until the end of September. Family tickets are available.
