Moorings for inland boats can be found at a number of iconic locations along the Navigation. The main inland mooring spots are Paper Mill Lock, Sandford Mill, Springfield Basin and Hoe Mill Lock. Long and short term moorings are available as well as a number of residential moorings. Moorings are categorised as basic, standard or premium depending on the facilities available.

Inland cruising on the Navigation is suitable for boats up to 17.40 metres in length, 4.62 metres wide and 0.62 metres draft. The maximum air draft is 1.9m (lowest bridge at Paper Mill). The actual lock dimensions along the Navigation are approximately 18.46m x 4.92m.
